The David Rubenstein Atrium is a public facility and performance venue located at 61 West 62nd Street, between Broadway and Columbus Avenue, on Manhattan's Upper West Side. Operating as part of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts complex, the indoor space functions as a dedicated venue for free weekly musical performances, concerts, and cultural events. Originally established as a privately owned public space (POPS) under the name Harmony Atrium, the facility underwent a comprehensive, modernization project led by Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects and reopened in 2009. The design was explicitly structured to provide an accessible, community-facing counterpoint to the formal, ticketed theaters of the main Lincoln Center campus.

The architectural design integrates sustainable landscape elements within a high-ceilinged, climate-controlled interior. The space features two large vertical living green walls planted with diverse flora, which extend to the ceiling and provide natural acoustic dampening from the ambient street noise of Broadway. The ceiling contains sixteen large, circular architectural skylights that maximize natural daylighting, paired with an integrated, state-of-the-art theatrical lighting and sound system designed to support diverse performance mediums. The interior layout incorporates a central performance area, a public ticketing and information hub, and a concession café.

The atrium functions as a year-round public sanctuary, providing open seating, public restrooms, and free wireless internet access during its standard daytime operating hours. As a multi-use civic hub, the venue transitions into an intimate concert space during scheduled evening programming, hosting a curated lineup of international and local artists spanning various genres, poetry slams, and family events. All performances and cultural presentations within the David Rubenstein Atrium are permanently free to the general public, with entry distributed on a first-come, first-served basis without the requirement of advanced ticket procurement.
